Welcome to the webpage of the DHI based research project “Breaking the code of breaking waves”.

The project aim is to improve our ability to simulate ocean waves for engineering applications.

The project period is April 1st, 2014 – November 30th, 2016.

It is financed by a postdoc grant awarded to Johan Rønby by The Danish Council for Independent Research | Technology and Production Sciences (Grant-ID: DFF – 1337-00118). Co-funding is also provided by the GTS grant to DHI from the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation.

The project is conducted in collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Henrik Bredmose from DTU Wind Energy and Prof. Hrvoje Jasak from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture at University of Zagreb.
